Chateau Madeleine arranged a very nice birthday party for my friend, a World War II vet, who turned 100 years old on March 14th. Actually, ten residents were sharing a March birthday party, but the centennial celebration made the occasion exceptional. Chef Kevin and his staff did a wonderful job on the food; piping hot, very tasty and included conch fritters and empanadas. The Chateau’s staff served all the guests individually as they were seated at tables in the party room. Champagne highlighted the festivities along with a handsome cake commemorating Walter’s 100 years. Eric Hardoon was a most charming master of ceremonies and they had a guitarist entertained with old favorites that everybody could sing-along with. Stella Tobin, activity director, worked hard to ensure that all the residents participated to the extent they wanted and were able. While his hearing is weak and he uses a walker for mobility, my friend enjoyed the party enormously. “I hope I get ten more years,” he said to the gathering at the party. “I’ve still got a lot to do.”

I must tell you what a wonderful Birthday I had here at Chateau.
From the moment I went to breakfast to bed time.
I must have had Happy Birthday song to me 5-6 times.
The staff every dept. and all the { Inmates !!! } where so kind and loving.

This place has saved my life. When I first came here I really did not care if I lived or not.
I do not have the words to say how I feel.
All I can say is thank you for building a wonderful place to live.
I know it takes a special someone to make a place like this and you and your family are so good at it.

This place and the people who run it are truly amazing. Both the employees and the residents are wonderful care-giving folks who will do anything to help other residents. I have been to several facilities that provide similar services but none are like Chateau Madeleine. The staff to resident ratio is more than double every other place I have seen or lived in. The food is as good or better than any top tier restaurant in the area and eating times are the most flexible I have ever seen. Their are three dining locations and each has its own unique menu and operating hours, so you actually have 24 hour access to well prepared food and drink. The activity schedules and both Memory Care and Assisted Living are geared for the residents abilities and offer a wide variety of choices times every day. Trips to outside locations are scheduled most days with a variety of transportation vehicles to local shopping, eating and entertainment sites. I did not think places like this existed until I saw it myself. They are constantly modifying and upgrading the facility and services to meet resident requests or just the improve the service.

My wife and her two sisters just visited this wonderful facility for their mother. They are all so excited and relieved to have such a beautiful place and caring atmosphere for their mother. Words cannot explain how much weight and anxiety is lifted from them to know their mother will be happy and safe at this new final phase of her life❣️

I have never been more impressed by a facility and the staff. Usually you get one, the other, or neither. The facility itself is beautiful. It is such a pleasure to walk into an assisted living and memory care facility and literally feel like you are in a hotel.
The staff are beyond beautiful. Every single person I have come into contact with working at CM is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. My mom has settled into her new home and it is simply due to the grace of God and the wonderfully dedicated staff here. I never feel as if I am being rushed nor do I feel as if I am a bother when discussing anything with the nurses. Thank you for making this transition such a smooth one!

We are beyond happy with the help and care our mom receives. Everyone is kind, thoughtful, polite and helpful!

My husband and I had to find a place for my cousin to move where she could have some support. She could no longer live at home alone. Our situation was complicated by the fact that we live in New Jersey. With the help of a health care specialist in Melbourne, we were able to locate Chateau Madeleine.

Two months before the Covid pandemic hit in earnest we were able to move my cousin to Chateau Madeleine. We don’t know what we would have done if she was still in her home during the current crisis.

My cousin is very content at Madeleine, and just as importantly, well taken care of. She was able to furnish her apartment with her own favorite furniture and with the quality of the meals, we know her nutrition has dramatically improved from living alone.

Finally, Eric Hardoon and his staff have done a remarkable job of keeping Madeleine’s residents safe and relatives informed during the Corona pandemic.

This was the hardest decision I have had to make. Do I leave mom in her beautiful condo over looking the ocean, or insist she move to assisted living? At 95, mom had had a great run, but I knew her memory was slipping. She could no longer manage on her own. After looking at many places, we settled on Chateau Madeline... The first few months were challenging, I think mostly for me...But very soon mom seemed settled in.
She stopped asking when we would be picking her up and started talking about the wonderful food... coming from a French mom this spoke volumes... now, going on her 6th month, Mom now says, "stop worrying about me, I feel safe, I'm never lonely, and I love the food"...For me, these were the best words I could hope to hear. they say it all...thank you chateau....

We moved my father in 3 weeks ago and he absolutely loves this place. At first he did not want to leave his home where he independently lived but after explaining the trial for 30 days he agreed to try. From the beginning working with Eric Hardoon the executive director was so easy. Yvette in sales giving us a tour and answering all of our questions facilitated the move in seamlessly. Brittany also was a huge help with paperwork etc. My Dad loves the food and looks forward to the meals. Entertainment & activities are by far the BEST I have ever seen in a community. We could not be happier , thank you Chateau Madeleine!!

This is an amazing home. My mother in law was one of the first residents to move in. She loves it. She is so much more active and happy since moving in. The food is amazing. The staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond and are willing to help at every level. Eric Hardoon the Administrator puts his heart and soul into everything he does. The residents love him. Our family highly recommends you take a tour and see for yourself. Thank you is not enough, but thank you!

My Aunt and Uncle are very happy at the Chateau. Whenever I call he says they're doing good and then he tells me what they had for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They really enjoy the food! I appreciate all the staff for the extra care they have had to give due to the virus restrictions. The pictures in life loop show me that the well being of the residents is of great importance to all the staff. Thank you so much!

Prior to choosing Château Madeline for my father, I toured 5 different area facilities and Château Madeleine is by far the best in Brevard. As a Physician Assistant, I was very particular in choosing the best for my father as I look beyond the esthetics of a facility and critique the inner workings of how a facility works and if it has proper medical supervision. The 24 hour on-site nursing care was a key factor in choosing Château Madeleine. Another key factor is the Hardoon name; it’s well known in Brevard that Dr. Abe Hardoon brings quality medical care to the area with his practice, Suntree Internal Medicine. My father’s provider is Nikka Cohan, NP, associate of Dr. Hardoon’s, who actually walks from her office to Château Madeleine to provide on-site medical care to my father. This was a godsend during Covid! They also have a podiatrist come monthly to care for the residents. When I had my first visit to Château, I saw Dr Hardoon walk through the facility, just checking up on the place and he had a big smile on his face. I could tell how much pride he had and how much this facility means to him and his family. That sold me! Family owned and run means a lot. Many other facilities run by big corporations. The care and communication has been wonderful. Any suggestion or concern I had was immediately addressed. Eric Hardoon, the CEO, is a hands-on administrator who has the best interest of all the residents at all times. He has boundless energy and is rarely at his desk, but instead is interacting with the residents and ensuring everyone is happy and well cared for. You cannot find a better place in Brevard. Choose Château with confidence !

An amazing assisted living facility! I was sold after my first tour.  Yvette and Brittany helped me through a very stressful process with compassion, answering all my questions and concerns in a timely manner.  When an issue arose in the process of  moving my dad from rehab, Yvette called me on a Sunday to assure me and help me work through it. That's customer service! I also appreciated all the automated processes that allowed me to get things done more efficiently. The facility is very well run and the staff is compassionate and seem to really care for their residents.  I moved both my parents in and they love it! The peace of mind knowing they are cared for AND they are very happy.  Thank you Chateau!
